PetFinder.com SPCA Humane Society If you have a certain breed in mind most breeds have rescue organizations , type the name of the breed you want in your serch engine with rescues behind it and see what comes up ... or you might prefer to rescue Americas number one most popular breed , the mutt

Try searching local animal shelters in your area. There are probably more homeless dogs-puppies around where you live than you know.

you may want to talk to the All Breed Rescue. This organization has informtaion on the types of dogs and can help you with picking the correct breed. After that they have specific listings on which rescue organization will have those breeds, maybe even in your area. Adoption fees from these rescues usually range anywhere between $75-$150 and in a lot of cases that will include some of the vacination and most of the time the dog is also fixed.

www.petfinder.com is the best site there is. It is great i already had a saint bernard and wanted another, so i went to petfinder and got another. You are able to look up what kind of dog you want and go to the state you live in or close to you. They give you free 30days of ins. on the dog as well.
