|  You don't say how long the fever has continued, however, the antibiotics do take some time to really "knock out" an infection. It must be tough for you to watch your puppy feel so sick. I would suggest that you trust your vet, and also continue to give the vet's office progress reports. Have faith that they will give you good advice. Be sure your puppy continues to drink water. He needs to stay hydrated with a fever. Alert the vet if he stops drinking. Keep your baby comfortable. Have patience. Remain in contact with the vet! Best luck, bless you both. |
