| We don't leave the heat on when we leave the house. It never drops below 45 degrees, so we figure the cat is okay, but I just wanted to check to see if anyone knew for sure. |

|  Why not buy or create some sort of indoor shelter for them? One of my cats loves a little fleece hut he can curl up in. Another prefers a heated fleece round bed (uses very little electricity). While some cats are used to cold weather (and typically have the coat to prove it), cats that spend most of their time indoors are often ill equiped for the cold. And 45 is pretty cool... |
