| I've had a female beta (Francesca) for 27 hours. She has a nice bowl, is fed 'beta bits' twice a day, and seemed okay at first. I fed her one pellet a few hours after taking her home, which she ate. I moved her from the original bag to her bowl after letting the water settle over night, which seemed to work out alright. I gave her two pellets this morning, which she ignored. I tried again with two more pellets at 3 o clock, which she also ignored. Now she either lies at the bottom of her bowl, or floats up at the top. I don't know what to do, and I'm starting to think I should just stay away from pets. Aren't beta's supposed to be super resiliant? Please help, any advice would be much appreciated. |

| as long as she isn't belly up and losing her color, she is fine. I've had beta's before...they don't really move around that much. You might not want to feed her so much though. |
