My cat luna had kittens. she was a stray. We cant take care of them. We took them to a shelter and asked if we could have her back( LUNA) because my sister has a HUGE relasion with her when she is done feeding. She said that they probly have to uthinize her. the cats can get sick in the hospital(keeps cats)and they may uhinize her. is there any POSSIBLE was she can't get sick??? Please help me get though this bad time..

this is true , she may pick up infections from other cats, but just as likely as if she was with you at home and mixing with other cats outside. it seems cruel to have her put to sleep once she has finished feeding her kittens, please dint put her back in there as it is a death sentence for poor Luna, keep her with you. kittens aren't all that hard work as the mother does most of it. you just have to provide kitten food to wean them at about 2 weeks. give the kittens to the shelter when they are 6 weeks so they can re home them if you are unable to. hope this answers your question

I'm sorry for what you are going through. Poor Luna. If Luna had all her shots before you took her to the shelter she shouldn't get sick. Even if she didn't she may not get sick. Maybe you could get her back if you take her to the veterinarian before you take her home. I pray they don't have to euthanize your precious kitty. Don't give up! We lost our kitty 3 years ago. We have 2 more now. We love our kitties.
