like salt fish or trash smell, why?sick? she have infection before on urine tract, pee blood that time (2 month ago) then healed, after urine test, everything fine, but since then her urine become very smelly, not the normal ammonia smell as i have aother dog at home, i can determine who pee just depends on the smell. i so worry she may have kidney problem. she is 3 years old now, and acting 100% normal on eating and drinking, no lost weight, pee as usual, active as usual. can anybody help me?

She probably has developed another bladder infection. Some dogs are prone to getting them frequently. It could be that her previous infection wasn't truly healed all the way. Schnauzers are prone to bladder stones. I'd recommend a check up at your vets with a urinalysis and an x-ray of her bladder.

Take a urine sample to the vet. It sounds like an infection. Schnauzers are prone to developing bladder stones, so you cannot be overly careful.

Sounds like your dog has a kidney or bladder infection had this in pups before, Take the dog to the vet and they will give her some antibiotics either pill form or liquid..I been a dog breeder of Labradors for the blind for 13 years and still doing it..
