| My neighbors just purchased another dog (2 year old male Husky) and my dog goes ballistic every time he sees that dog. My neighbor's 12 years old female dog and my male dog (he's 4 yrs old Rott/Retriever mix) get along great. They’ve been friends since he was a puppy. (both dogs are fixed.) My dog has been around other male dogs and by no means is he an Alpha male. These same neighbors had a male puppy Lab last summer and my dog was okay with him...he mostly ignored him. Is there any way to get them to get along? The new dog seems less dominant and doesn't bark as much as my dog. Can they ever be friends or co-exist peacefully? |
