| He rarely bites at my husband, but when he's with me, he bites if I pat him. He bites when I take him out. Then he pees in the house. How do I get him to stop this behavior? By the way, he is a siberan husky. |

| It's time to teach puppy some discipline. You have to let him know you are the alpha. Force him to submit, dogs will roll over on their backs and show their stomachs when being submissive. Since he is showing aggressive tendencies, force him to be submissive by rolling him over and hold him down until he stops growling. Hold him by the throat, don't choke him and in a calm, deep voice tell him NO!. Do not call him by name when disciplining him, he will start to think his name is same as no. If you do not correct this behavior he will continue to bite and growl when he is full grown. Discipline is not from causing pain, but by teaching him that you are dominant and have control over him. Get him some chew toys, my dogs have always liked rawhide. Puppies chew, there's no getting around that, you have to teach them what is acceptable to chew on. As for the peeing in the floor, he can't help that. When they're real young the puppy training pads work well, reward him everytime he uses it. It teaches him he has to go in a specific spot, eventually he will learn that spot is outside. Then start taking him out every 1-2 hours and reward him immidiately after he finishes his business, do not wait until he gets back inside. Once he has learned to go outside, then you can wait until he is back inside to reward him. |
