I have been seeing the terms Jr. (Doe or Buck) and wonder how old that means that rabbit is. Are all rabbits considered Jr. before they reach full adulthood or is there another stage. Like kit then ***** then Jr.?

I wanted to get a baby as soon as it was ok to leave its mother or fairly soon after that because I thought that would give me the best situation to socialize it to my family and our lifestyle.

I had a rabbit as a teenager who was already 6-7mths old when she came home with me and she was extremely difficult to handle, did not want anything to do with humans and took forever to get to a level where I could touch her. I can remember having to have a friend to hold her just so I could brush her without being severly clawed up.

I loved her and everything but it makes me leery of being an almost adult bun into my home.I think a baby would simply warm up to us and our other pets more easily.

What do the experienced bunny people think of this?

Get M or F and why?
