| child, other than injury? Child is 5 years old. Not known if hearing loss was resent at birth, but was recently noticed. Hearing loss is only in left ear. Child's speach development appears reasonable for his age. Ear drum was tested and appears to work within normal ranges. Does not appear to have fluid build-up in either ear. Also wouldn't viral infection affect both ears? |

| possibly sinus drainage entering the inner ear.. leads to infection? |
