btw its pass papers i have a wide range of answers i dont no what one it is i have looked through ma books and not to sure please help a)crevice in a tooth b)defect in a muscle c)component of a joint d)natural opening in bone

foramen:
(plural) foramina, foramens
1. A naturally occurring small opening, particularly in the bone.
Derivative: foraminal
Derivative: foraminated
Pierced with small holes; porous.
2. Monro's foramen:
the small opening (on both the right and left sides) that connects the third ventricle in the diencephalon with the lateral ventricle in the cerebral hemisphere
Synonyms: interventricular foramen, foramen of Monro.
3. Foramen magnum:
A bone at the lower and posterior part of the skull, consisting of basilar, condylar, and squamous parts and enclosing the foramen magnum.

foramen is an openin in the bone thru which nerves pass..

the biggest foramen is the foramen magnum (as the name suggests), and the spinal cord passes thru it.

the skull has a lot of foramens...foramen rotundum, manndibular or maxillary foramen,
