I do believe they have a lot of credit to them. I have done reiki and other healings for many years. The most amazing thing I have seen was when reiki was used to fix a person's broken hand, which was documented by x-ray. A reiki master, in front of me, did his healing for about 2 hours and at the end, he could move his fingers to the point the nurse order another x-ray and this one showed he had no broken bones in his hands. SO yes reiki may not always have these huge miracles but it does usually help many illnesses. For crystals i have accounts from doctors in worcester ma hospitals who have seen some very effective results when crystals were used alone and with other sources. The one that stands out the most is this woman who just lost her son or daughter I forget, anyways the doctor gave her a piece of crystal and left her alone, after 2 hours, instead of sobbing her head out she was manageable to talk too and felt a lot better and she attributed it to the crystal. Then of course there is straight herbal healing which I think combines both scientific with folk remedies to produce very effective cures. I use the nurses guide to herbs, which is college level to train them in herbs but then again that is the best resource to use. hope this helps

I'm not a huge fan of homeopathy. It's way too expensive for what it is--it's 99.9+ % water--and I've never experienced any healing or other effect from it. I love Reiki, I teach it, and I've witnessed and heard about many people and animals who have been helped by it. People can have a placebo effect but not animals. I've had acupuncture and it hasn't done much for me, but most of the things I've been treated for have been mental, not physical, and physical is what acupuncture is best for. Again, I've seen animals helped by it and they are my benchmark. Crystal therapy is okay. People who do it tend to be really far off center and rather wacko so that has a big bearing on how it's perceived. Everything has energy/vibrations and it's very possible the energy of some stones can help the energies of some illnesses. I also do sound healing, with bowls and voice and other techniques. It's a love/hate thing. Some people LOVE it and others can't stand it. I don't do it for everyone. I'm a certified reflexologist and I can tell you people LOVE it. They get Reiki while I work on them, I'm very good at it, and I've had people practically melt in my chair. Maybe it's just having a good foot massage or maybe there's something to it, I don't know. I've had people call me up and say that after a treatment they didn't have insomnia anymore, or that their minor aches and pains were gone.

I can tell you about Homeopathy and Accupressure, they work ..if i am having 103 celsius temperature i will take homeopathic medicine and get cured, may be a little later than other forms but will not have any other side effects. Accupressure for small ailments is very good and fast.

Look for actual documented studies on each different natural healing technique. This can tell you fairly fast which ones are fake and which ones actually heal. You must research and discover for yourself.
