| Yes. A cat's purring can be very relaxing, and in turn lower your blood pressure. I read that in a medical magazine once while in a doctor's waiting room. |

| No, a purring cat is not beneficial to our health. Although, there have been a number of studies showing that the companionship of animals in general can be beneficial to a person's health. |
