|  My doctor prescribed it to me. It is dangerous, if you don't have all the proper tests done beforehand. When I went on it, I had to have a stress test, an echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart) a chest x-ray, I wore a holter monitor for 24 hours, and an EKG. Once cleared, I was able to get the meds, was closely monitored by the doctor, and had to go to see him every 2 weeks. You can only be on Adipex for a total of 12 weeks per year. It works, but PLEASE, by all means, don't cause yourself to starve! They are powerful, and make you forget to eat. Eat sensibly! |
