If you read the small print on a multi vitamin you will not that they do not contain any calories and as such they have no effect on weight one way or the other. With the typical American fast food processed diet deficiencies are increasingly common and 1 multi vitamin daily may not be enough. If you diet is one which may be associated with nutritional deficiency I recommend 2 multi vitamins daily.

That is an old wives tale. Vitamins help your body process food, making it easier to break it down, giving the user more energy. They are always a great idea. Good Luck!!!!

No way, they just give your body vitamins to help it function better. Taking vitamins and eating crappy food makes you fat (becuase although youre taking vitamins, your still eating crappy food).

Nope. Mulitivitamins will NOT cause you to gain weight. Eating more than your body needs is the number one cause of weight gain. Strength training comes in second.
