| ...this affect her fitness? Her mother had her period when she was 15. The teenager will turn 17 in 4 months. She isn't pregnant or has had sex. She has 5 years of puberty but has never started her period. The teenager is 5'2 and weights 130. She used to be at a normal weight but about 2 years ago, she has gain excess of fat.She is worried that because she has not started her period, her stomach is big. Does it has anything to do with her shape? If so, what could she do to obtain a beter shape. Will using birth control pills help her or even make her gain more weight? |

| My mother was 18. She is now 84 and has been to the Dr. 3 times in her life, two for child birth and once for tick fever. Because of the weight gain, she may be having a thyroid problem. Please take her to the Dr. It could be serious. |
