There is a product called SINUPRET. It promotes sinus and upper respiratory health and yes, kids can take it. I have not tried it myself, but if I needed it I certainly would. Maybe typing SINUPRET in your search engine might bring it up. I have the flyer in front of me but I do not know whether I can list the website here.

best non medical treatment is if possible give him hot foamentation like ask him to inhale steam of boiling water.you can also put a towel napkin soaked in warm water on his chest and at the same time at the back.it helps to liquify the thick mucus inside the bronchus and easily comes out.

Well, have you gone through your home and tried to eliminate as many allergens as possible? Check out some of the online allergy & asthma sites for ideas.

You might also think about getting a HEPA filter for his bedroom and putting allergy-proof covers on his pillows and mattress. (This actually REALLY helped my own son.)

Keep pets out of the house or at least out of his room and encourage him to give up any stuffed animals that you can't wash.

In my opinion, eliminating the cause of recurring illnesses like this should always be a top priority. Post again if you'd like more info on identifying allergens in your home.
