| Currently no cure, there are some people who respond to treatment enough in which the meso is arrested, but in most people, the treatment only arrests the cancer for a short time, and eventually then they must try other treatments/surgery etc. I know of some people who are ten year survivors, and then you have others like my Dad who died about a year and a half after diagnosis. Docs just don't know enough to know why one person responds to meds or surgery and another doesn't....then we will have the cure. |
