Well I know that with Dell printers you can go to Dell website and download the software. So maybe hp has the same option. Good luck

This is most definitely possible.

You are able to install drivers just by plugging in your printer. Windows will automatically install the Generic drivers that run almost any printers. You will not get the extra feature that a full fledged printing software solution brings you but you can print documents, websites, etc...

You can also go to the HP software website for your OfficeJet.

I have provided the web address in the source below. What you will see when you open up the web page is a screen of various operating systems. Pick yours and install the three available downloads.

Sometimes the computer O/S has the drivers installed other times it will go look for it by it's self if not then you have to contact tech support good luck there

Yes, if your computer is newer, there is an option to choose what printer you would like to install. It's under control panel, printers, you'll see it. Just choose the printer you have!

you can use the xp or vista drivers and the printer will do most function.

HP allow downloading at their site for most newer products.


just plug it in and let windows find drivers.. if it doesnt work.. go to hp.com and d/l them
