| I'm a 17 yr-old male with anorexia. My parents think ED's are a female only issue, and any facts and figures are not getting through to them. I realise I need help, but that I can't do this on my own. How can I find treatment, and pay for it, without their help? -daniel |

| Try talking to you guidance counselor if you are in high school or your health center if you are in college. You are making an important step in admitting that you have problem. If at all possible I recommend you give your parents a chance to support your recovery and treatment. Facing your problem is hard enough you do not need to take it on all by yourself. |
