| ...Husband lost wallet now has state id? My husband's grandmother is ill. We planned to visit her in Mexico where my husband is from in the next 2 weeks.Unfortunately my husband realised that we can't go after all because he only has his state id. When he lost his wallet he lost his resident alien card and social security card-in other words everything important. Is there any other ID he could bring? We have our marriage license of course but I don't know what good that would do. Thank you for any advice you can give. |

| You can get a passport or go to your local city office to have a social security card reissued. The state ID might work. I'd call an airline, say that you're traveling to mexico on that airline, and ask what you need for travel. |
