| I don't know anyone. You'd have an uphill battle. It depends on what you were in for, and your circumstances. Assuming you weren't in for something that rules you out completely, you'd have to show that you have obligations at home that you would have to come back for, and a solid plan for your holiday e.g. return flights etc. However if you went to prison, in all likelihood it was serious enough to bar you for life. You should speak to a solicitor specialising in visas for the USA. There are a couple in the UK. You'd certainly have to get a travel visa - anyone arrested, ever, even if not charged with anything, is not eligible for the visa waver program. |
