A little background for some perspective. We talked a month before we went out. Since then we have been out twice. She said she doesn't kiss on the first date, or make out until in a relationship. We make out and kiss now. She was hesitant to keep going out with me because she said she is falling for me and fears getting hurt again, that it will be a while before she will be able to committ to anything too serious. I told her to trust me, well take it slow, and now we are going out again. She mentions that I am the only one she is going out with that she doesn't ususally even date, and that there is only one person she likes; that she likes me a lot. She tells me she thinks I'm in love with her. I told her it's the other way around She hints that guys are hitting on her all the time (they are) to see if she can get a reaction out of me, but I don't give her one. I told her she is just my friend and she got mad and said she is more than that, I ask what she is, she said she dunno.
Two weeks ago she said it will be a while before she can committ to anything too serious. I take that to mean that things are not casual and not really serious. But what's with all the little hints about me being the only one, all the making out when she said she doesn't do that until in a relationship, getting mad when I tell her she is just a friend (to see her response), little hints about guys hitting on her all the time like I better make her mine before someone else does? Her profile still says single, but so does mine. What is going on in her mind?? What should I do? Sorry it's so long...
yes I like her. I want to try things out with her and make it work but I don't want to rush her.
