...consciousness or your death be forgotten? The flight of death's wings forever overshadows our lives; it is, and always will be the veil of darkness which snuffs out the candles of humanities hope. Our world is crumbling around us everyday, yet so few of us seem to realize that some kind of action must be taken; not by protesting mobs, religions, organizations or governments, but by each and every individual one of us. Billions of people waste their lives on nonsense striving to make a better cellphone, finding love or more money; what is is the point of momentary sensory satisfaction. All great things in History have been achieved through collective individual accomplishments. Simply put, ask yourself this question. Will the light of your life's moments shine forever in humanities consciousness, or will you be yet another burned out bulb forgotten in the obituaries of the now? You cannot say what you will be, or how you will be remembered. But your actions can dictate future generations memories of your life.

well, that was an eloquent question and well written too...so, you're asking me as an individual?...will i be remembered?......well i like to think so, but then i never ever met a dinosaur, i know they existed and everything but i never met one.....i dont recall them but it's been a very long time.......i will be recalled by some and forgotten by all eventually.....i've had the most exiting life of anyone i know!.....i'm an interesting guy,....not handsome or anything but quite interesting.....people will recall me for many reasons,.....i hope two of them are because of my kids,......5 will be because of ex wives.....3 will be because of fathers.......2 by mothers,....thousands by my works of art........some due to misunderstandings....others over arguments........some things i am told (by an angel).....for reasons i cant even imagine.......so, i'm sure i will be remembered for some reasons......geeeeesh i hope there's more good ones than bad ones.

WOW! Your question is very moving. My husband and I have been through divorces, and we both know the reprocussions of every aspect involved. I know that if he died tonight, he would be remembered every day of my entire life, and I wouldn't go a day without speaking of him. It would be the same way if it were the other way around. We have a deep love and understanding that goes beyond words! I guess this is something that we covet as time goes by. I'm 44 and he is 38, (soon to be 39) and we both married when we were young. We all make quick decisions. But to put it all together, my husband and I decided to marry because we love each other unconditionally. If I were to lose him tonight, he'd live on forever in my heart, my life, and my daily conversations. I'm sure it would be the same if I were to go first!

Blessed Be!
