| I have been with my bf/x bf for about 6 months. This last month has been nothing more then arguements and avoidance. I haven't seen him since the beginning of Feb. I am constantly the peace marker and have adjusted that part. When I stand up to him and tell him how I feel and what I need he just rhetorically answers "I love you" never an admission of his wrong doing and so forth. He disappears for days then comes back saying I love you, or I miss you in my life. Tells me he wants to marry me. I just don't understand how you can easily profess your love then disappear for days? I love this guy and not ready to give up yet. I just don't know how to turn things around without admitting or accepting blame.. what should i do?? help!! |

| Sorry about your situation. If he is taking off for days does he tell you where he has been??? Visiting a sick relative, helping his parents etc. if he has no legit answers you must leave this relationship before it destroys you both mentally and physically. You will find yourself (if you aren't already) wondering day to day hour by hour who he is with what he is doing why he doesn't call and pretty soon you are consumed by it all and will lose your self estem and sense of worth. He says he loves you, but yet he is not showing you love by taking off for days and not admitting he is wrong, maybe he loves you for always being there when he returns. You love him, but love yourself first, don't be a door mat. It is time to let him go. |
