Okay okay, I'm not one of the religious people with these kinds of questions, or somone with misinterpreted scientific ideas. I'm just wondering abou major events that may happen that could destroy the human race.

Heres some good answers:
Solar flare(big) or solar increase
Earth's magnetic pole flipping
Meteor

Bad answers:
Tsunami
Hurricane
God's wrath

I think you can see my distinction... Best answer will be chosen.

(In canse you dont see my distinction, I only want answers that will actually cause the END of humanity, a lil tsunami isn't gonna do that)

Man-made biological weapon gets lose. Superflu wipes out 99.96% of the Earth's population. Wait a minute, this sounds familiar.

Genetically humans will loose variations in genes due to less inter-specific struggle that could leave them vulnerable to mutant viral strains. In ancient times only the strong and healthy individuals were allowed to mate but today wealth is the main criteria for mating and not health. As a result, many genetic disorders are allowed to recur in the gene pool and many genetic diseases will continue to resurface among the population in increased proportions (like diabetes type 1 etc.,). A combination of weaker genes and a lack of variations in the genes in the generations to come may not help the humans to adapt to a sudden environment change or with stand a viral disease of pandemic proportions.

ok there are solar flares that reach us but earth's magnetic field sort of protects us.
so what we need is a combo of some sort
so how about we go for
Earth's magnetic pole flipping
Solar flare(big) or solar increase
Meteor
Comet
put them all in the blender and mix

so at the same time the magnetic pole flips
the field will drop to zero(not sure on how long)
at this time a solar flare hits us making the entire sky look like the northern lights(very beautiful at sun set)
because the atmosphere starts to ionize.
and on the night side a comet heading straight for earth
but the comet is over taken by a large meteor that smashes the comet creating a lot of small comets of ice and rock and one mostly untouched meteor about 150-200km or larger in diameter. the meteor can crash in the middle of the pacific right on top of hawaii taking it out and creating a large tsunami that kills most of the people in the costal areas. then the ice covered meteors from the comet will at some time over the next 48 hours end up taking out most of the major urban centers of the world and the farms as well.
also the ensuing earthquakes can completely teraform the landscape in to a more mountainous terrain.
and the electro magnetic serge caused by the solar flare launches all of the armaments across the globe at random GPS co-ordinates.(nuklear, chemical, biological, ETC...)

hows that for a disaster waiting to happen.
