| As a good, 16 year old kid, I know that sometimes my peers are a little confused. We're going through interesting times, and if we do things like that, we don't nesisarrily mean any harm, we just need to learn. I would say to talk to your kids, let them know what you think is right and wrong, and grounding from games, friends, tv etc. works well sometimes. Let them know you love them, and saying you're "not mad, just dissapointed" dosn't make anybody feel better, I know from experiance . |

| 1. Don't bail them out. Let them face the consequences. 2. Tell them you are ashamed of them, and they will have to work hard to win back your confidence. 3. Take away any privileges you can. 4. At an extreme, insist they see a counselor or therapist as a condition of your continuing economic support. (The reason I consider this extreme is that I don't trust such "experts" much myself.) Now please put this question to a vote. It will soon be old enough to vote iteself! |
