| less) an airport? This will be my kids second ski trip and my wife hates long drives. She is an intermediate skiier and im a beginner. My kids are both boys, 7 and 10 yrs old. Would also like a place with fun shops, downtown area, etc. |

| I would recommend looking at the ski resorts in the Salt Lake City area. There are many of them with all varieties of terrain. SLC airport is the central hub of all air transportation across the country so it should be easy to get to and cheap as well. It should only take you 45 minutes to get to the closest resort and accomidations are reasonable due to competition with other resorts and hotels. I would look at Snowbird, that's where I learned to ski and I love it. |
