Yes beauty is in the eye of the beholder as well as obscenity.
Because all things are subjective and personally I think we should desensitize all those things that are censored by pompous authority.
I believe you use your eyes to first see then your mind to decipher what your eyes have seen.
Safety in comfort, rememberances of a past pleasant or unpleasant experience is what helps intuitive judgment.
All things in nature are beautiful but also can be deceiving.
Follow your heart.

Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder. Even if one considers soemone cute, or sexy, the other may not.

The reason for this is complex, and is tied mainly into the brain processes of the person. What we consider sexy, or cute, or beautiful; what we consider as a qualified mate.

The aspect of beauty is really a analyzation of what we would consider a potential mate. Which is a basist instinct.

I believe it is! For me, I look for good points in the person's personality, taking notice of their actions, responses, and interaction with others. Someone can look great on the outside, but be rotten within. To me, they don't have beauty.

According to a BBC program broadcast a couple of years ago beauty is completely measurable and therefore not in the eye of the beholder. Some known measurement as in distance from nose to tip of chin, center of nose to ear and nose to hairline should apparently be equal to reach the closest in temrs of beauty for both men and women. A lot more has to be done on full-body beauty to see how far this universal truth extends.
