Wouldn't it be better to accept loving gay couples into our communities rather than force them into secret double lives of promiscuity. Can a straight person comprehend a life of living in a closet forced by ignorance, prejudice, bias, and hatred? The World Health Organization, The American Medical and American Psychiatric Associations have all stated that homosexuality is a normal variation in the spectrum of humanity and is not chosen. What if we treated left-handed people this way - is being left-handed so different from being gay?

It doesn't. Homosexuality creeps some people out, but they don't like to admit it, so they have to have some other reason to be against it.

Intentional or accidental single parents, easy divorces, a lack of jobs threatens the traditional family more than gay marriage, I think. The only way it could threaten traditional marriage is if there was a mass movement of people opting for gay unions rather than tradtional marriages. If that happens, there would be less reproduction, less people (a cleaner world, because there are no gay slums)etc. Maybe people have an instinctual dread of species extinction. Maybe that's what happened to the dinosaurs!
