I'm planning on buying a mobile phone soon, and under my parent's plan- verizon. Any suggestions on the best verizon phone out there? As long as it has a color screen, camera, texting (video and picture), and is reasonably affordable. (maybe V-cast...?) P.S flip-phones aren't my favorite, but I'm still convincable

Same situation as you... I recently bought the moto e815... its a flip phone, but it has a color screen, awesome motomegapixal camera, and vid/pix messeging. Its also a V-Cast phone, so depending where you live, you can sign up for this service. The signal reception is awesome, and the retractable antenna adds to this... one caveat- it scratches easily, so either ignore that or be careful... happy shopping! PS: as for the price- its 150 with a 2 year, 200 for a 2 year, but if you shop around you can get a better price...

You don't like flip phones, then I guess you won't like the Razr V3c which was just released to Verizon customers. You'll be hard pressed NOT to find a flip phone however. I couldn't find a single non-flip phone in my area but I love flip phones, especially the Razr, it's just such a great phone. And I know for a fact the Razr V3c support V-cast. Is $200 affordable, that depends on your situation. But you can still check out Verizon to see what they offer. Also check out the reviews by Cnet on various Verizon phones.
