...Home Depot, Walmart, and Lowes?
I suppose that the question is really one of sales approach. I have sold to lots of companies but most of my customers are OEM's with their own distribution channel. I would like to set-up my own retail distribution relationships and I really don't know anything about how the wholesale sales process to a retailer differs from the wholesale sales process to a OEM.

If the big box retail stores have anything to say about it, they don't.

If they manage to somehow, it's through providing service that customers desire, prices appropriate to the value of the merchandise and service, and doing something the other guys just don't.
