| I believe what you are trying to ask is... Is it a particle or a wave? and the answer... First the an event occurs, then its explanation; except for when the explantion comes before the event. |

| it depends, usually the event because a lot of things happened already, and scientists are providing explanations. Occasionally the explanation comed first in the case of a prediction such as "there will be a meteor shower on whatever day" and they can explain why this will happen, or "the sun will set tonight" and they can explain why that will happen, even though it didnt happen yet. |
