This is a discussion on Where it says "CREDIT LIMIT" and shows the amount next to an account on my within the General Chat forums, part of the Main Category category; credit report; what does that mean? (IF ITS A CLOSED ACCOUNT?)...

|  It just shows what it once was. Banks and credit card companies do not do a good job of communicating with different departments. For example, the department that generates the statements may not have notice that your account is actually inactive, so it shows that you still have a credit limit and or available credit. |
