|  This question seems to be straight out of a college assignment. You can refer the book " Art of the Long View: Planning for the Future in an Uncertain World", which talks about scenario analysis and its origins in the Royal Dutch Shell Group. Though this will not give you a clear cut answer for your question and does not deal only about environment analysis of the Shell Group, you will get insights into some of the important factors that the Shell group had considered and analyzed. |
