Yes, it is not needed. You can have coins without the phrase in God We Trust. You can't just set the whole United States phrases and such be at just God. That would only be referring to Catholicisim, Christianity, and Judaisim.

Christians pay taxes just as much as atheist, agnostics, ect. If some school districts are immersing students in Islam, why can't they discuss Christianity, or Judism?

I have read some of these answers and I am surprised by them! Eighty-six perdent and rising believe in God, and Jesus Christ nowadays, and you think we should exclude God from our government and schools!? Our nation WAS largely built on RELIGION and religion should remain a major part of our government and schools. Taking God out of things like schools and the Pledge would be like turing America into a communist government! It must not be done!

No we should NOT exclude it!!!! Our country was found on the basis of religion and there's no reason for that to change now! The pledge of alliegence should stay the same (the UNDER GOD statement) and all of that should stay the same!

Absolutely. The phrase "In God We Trust" should also be removed from our currency and coins. Religion has no business in government, and government has no business in religion. Let's assume, at some point in the future, the United States is made up of over 50% Muslims (or Wiccans or Buddhists or any other religion). Would you agree that your children should be restricted to school prayers only to Allah, and would you want "In Allah We Trust" on your currency?

No. That is why our ancestors left the countries that they came from because they couldn't worship God. If we take God away where would we go then to have a nation under God.I think that this country was founded in order to worship God and if people don't like it they need to find someplace else to live not us. Let them go back to Europe and not have God if they so desire.
