Hello all, I need some opinions!

I'm having a wedding this coming August, and the color theme/idea is an outdoorsy italian feel.

For the menu I have:
Lasagna
Regular Salad w/ choice of dressing
Noodle Salad
Spinach Dip w/ crackers
Bruschetta w/ bread

And of course I will have my cake: white buttercream icing with german chocolate cake inside (oooh so yummy.)

What do you think of my menu? Is there something missing, or is it just right??
Keep in mind there's only going to be around 30-40 people, and it's going to be served buffet style.

Thanks!
i'm going for a buffet style, not a sit-down dinner because I have a strict budget and I'll make everything except the lasagna (catered by olive garden)

The noodle salad kind of jumped out at me as not belonging with the others. Since you are serving lasagna, which is comprised of noodles, I think it's out of place and a waste of a dish. I would go with something else.

To be honest, alot of people expect a meat dish (beef or chicken) to be served at a wedding.
If you don't think your guests will mind, I think you have a great menu. I might not eat all of it (fussy eater) but certainly wouldn't go hungry if I were a guest.

I think it sounds good, although you may want to include a vegetable other than salad, like green beans, and I would include dinner rolls in case anyone wants plain bread instead of bruchetta. Other than that sounds yummy!

You're on the right track. All those choices will be enjoyed by your guests.

I observe that there seems to be a lot of carbs in the mix. You might want to add some platters with fresh veggies. Maybe a second salad-type item such as cole slaw.

I think your menu is perfect (and Lasagna from Olive Garden is really good). I like the fact that you are doing this great idea on a budget. That's smart because Weddings are just too expensive these days. There's just one problem....can I come? Have a great day and congrats!!
