| i have just re installed windows xp home addition i have done all my windows updates and all that but now it wont play games any more it will play verry basic games but nothing like BATTLEFIELD 2 or juced or anything like that when i installed battlefeild 2 and opened it it either said battlefield2.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close or it would open but then automaticly close but the programe is still runing same thing with true crime but all these games used to run i done a programe diognostics test and it said it faild the display memory or something like that NOTE: if it helps my laptop is an IBM thinkpad and yes it used to meet system requirements but now i dont know any answer will be greatly appreciated urgent i realy want to go online and play lol |

|  I don't think an IBM will play BF2....Have you tried direct x? |
