| Is there a software to create a "Restore Disc" for my system? (It sound like Norton Ghost but in this case, I mean, If I want to restore the whole system, which is included the Windows + Program Files, (but not personal files in "My Documents"), right after I format my hard drive?. John Do: For example: My Windows Vista is badly damaged, I copy all the personal data (video, picture, music) from "My document" to external hard drive, and then format the hard drive, and put the "Restore Disc" in, It will automatically boot up and installed everything for me (Included Windows setting and every program). Upon finish installing, my Windows will have every program and windows setting, ) except that there is no personal files in there, I will copy them back from the external hard drive) Thanks |

| Yes. The minute you start Windows for the first time. That's the best time to do it. After that, things get ugly and more difficult. The mfr might have a set that you can buy. Once you install programs and the update Windows and download pages from the internet you "contaminate" the virgin state. I regularly create image backups but keep old copies until I'm sure the new system is still pure. |
