| You'd have to be a GLOBAL PROJECT MANAGER or SOFTWARE-VENTURE CAPITALIST. To get an equitable position I would suggest taking classes in Cross-Cultural Communications; International business Law; Project Management (you can do these online - inexpensive and easy). If you know an additional languages it would help. Languages that will be of advantage would be Mandarin (for China); Hindi (for India - though most Indian's are versatile in english). If you can try this strategy. Plan a trip to Singapore via India. Print a business card a Global business Consultant and try to network with people you know who have contact in Singapore and India. Tell them that you are lookig at the possibility of venturing into your own business. They'd be happy to help. On your stop over in India connect with Indian software developers - get to know them; talk about their business model, offer them any genuine help you can. In Singapore there are meet with the same genre of people and do some networking. Now please understand, all you are doing is 'Working yourself' and 'networking'. Once you have visited them, you can put it on your resume that you were a STRATEGIC CONSULTANT or GLOBAL business ADVISOR to these organizations. Happy job Hunting - Big Risks Bring Big Rewards!! Let me know how it goes. All the best. (In fact I should be doing this!) |
