| According to Einstien's assumption in his 'theory of relativity' the speed of light does not change due to relative motion and hence the flashlight beam reaches with the speed of light (in that medium) Some extra information-- Any other physical quantity like mass, space or time would change due to relative motion and the change is more pronounced as the speed approaches the speeed of light. But speed of light(in vacuum) doesnt change. This is an assumption but hasn't been disproved yet. |
