| almost three years ago i financed a leased car. at that time the dealer told me that my credit score was great at 830. since i'm turning the car in this month, i started to get pre-approved for another car. i tried lending tree and the only two companies that replied rejected me. i applied to dealers on autotrader and they rejected me. i even tried the company that i just paid off and they rejected me! since my last credit reading i have never been late on any payments to anyone, i've made no major purchases and the car i'm trying to get is cheaper than the one i've paid off. in a couple of weeks i'll be without a car. i don't know how my credit has been destroyed or how to correct it, but i know that its going to take some time. i'm numb and can't think what to do. i need a car but i don't want to pay credit card rates for a car loan. can anyone advise me , because i am totally lost? |
