with a child in the car? I know someone who had a first time DUI offense, but has completed the necessary classes...all that is left are the fines to pay to be able to get back the 'actual' license. Meanwhile, in short distances...this person is still driving. This parent needs to be able to drop of a child to daycare and because this parent feels that 'he/she' can handle it......"again, in short distances"(i know that doesn't matter) this parent sees nothing wrong. My question is what type of charges could result if caught. (sounds like a stupid question) and the other parent is aware but can't convince the other parent that it is wrong. All that is setting this parent back is paying the fines. I feel like BOTH parents will get in trouble, no matter how much convincing the other parent could do. Emotions are running high after a recent breakup so that is why the unlicensed driver has a stubborn sense of feeling independant attitude...."i know best...this parent says" (obviously not...) help! worried relative Would the other parent get in trouble even if the unlicensed driver still insists that "it is just a short distance". again emotions are running high and the other parent is afraid of upsetting the driver parent...and risking the chance of not seeing their child again. (again....what seems like common sense, might not work with the driver's STUBBORN state of mind)...help? i'm still trying to dig up for answers online...

The parent would more than likely be charged with driving with a suspended license & can be arrested.

probably just driving without a license... unless of course you were under the influence when you got pulled over. Then there could be child endangerment charges. Otherwise though.. I'm pretty sure it'd just be driving without a license.
