| ...concerns, which would you choose,why Farmed fish have carcinogens in them, as well as cancer causing agents inside of them because of the processed food they are being fed. On the other hand, wild fish could go endangered if they are the only ones on the market, and farmed fish are very convenient to all if only they didn't harm you with antibodies and PCB's. If someone could please clarify which they would choose and able reasons to toheir decisions I would apprechiate it, thanks. |

| Farmed fish have less mercury in them than wild fish. Farmed fish have more of other toxins though. The fact is, we have posioned our planet to the point there is no clean fish to eat anymore. The cleanest are salmon from Chile and Alaska, farmed Tilapia from China, and shrimp which for some reason does not store much mercury in it's body. Even these examples it is recomened you eat only a pound per week. This topic is one of many similar reasons for the organic and vegetarian and homesteading movements. Our food supply is filthy and full of toxic chemicals, not to mention our top soils are leached of most of it's nutrients. |
