Yahoo Answers is a good way to share with others, but sometimes, people just get to me with their answers. They give an answer like they know everything. We all know this is opinion based. Like I wanted to know about anxiety disorders, and what types of things can high anxiety do to you, and this one person said I was schiscoprenic because I described some high anxiety/paranoia. You can be that way and not be schisoprenic(sp). I am going to therapy and taking medication

Yes, you can. The best thing for you to do is go to someone who can help you, like a counselor or licensed psychiatrist/psychotherapist. Don't be embarrassed to go to one, the right one(s) can help you to cope so much better. You might even be able to get by without meds. I've had anxiety and depression since I can remember. It started in grade school when I would freak out and cry over homework assignments/responsibilities. Reports were the worst. I would worry so much until they were done. Those worries just turned into more worries about so many other insignificant things that are just part of life. You should try to help yourself so that it doesn't get worse and make life miserable. Don't let a bunch of dorks who have no idea what they're talking about get to you. Help yourself, what you have is perfect normal.

Right, you have to glean knowledge from our responses with a grain of salt. One can be w-a-a-y whacky and still not be certifiable! Best of luck in your reseach.

Don't take answers like that personally. There are a lot of immature and young inexperienced people on here. They are quick to accuse and put you down. Don't let it bother you. They don't know anyone in your situation or have never had the problems that you have. So in a nut shell don't take them personally.
