| Hi, I am a college student and am thinking of getting a credit card in order to get a good credit score. -Do you have to pay a monthly fee, even if you didn't use your credit card once during that month? -Can you pay your monthly payments online? |

|  You do not have to pay a monthly fee if you never use your card. But some credit cards do charge an annual fee. Those cards usually require very good credit for you to get approved, such as American Express, so you most likely wouldn't get one of those. Mose cards will allow an on-line payment, but then again, it depends on your bank as well. ALWAYS read the fine print. ALWAYS pay your bill on time and in full. AND your credit card company can raise your int rest rate whenever they want even if you pay on time each and every month. AND check you bills to make sure you are not getting charged for anything other than what you purchased yourself! |
