| OK, so a slightly facetious question but I've got a job offer for something that I'll love doing, leading me out of my current job which I hate. I'm being bullied at the moment, so a change of job is exactly what I need. The only thing is that I have an Occy Health Assessment and a form, which requires me to list all my absences for the past 3 years. I've had quite a few, though mainly these were caused by the physical (manual) nature of my current job, and I disclosed one of them (for 10 weeks) at the interview and they said, 'well, working here, that wouldn't be a problem.' So, positive spin by them, etcetcetc, followed by a call the next day offering me the job. I also had 4 weeks off with depression about 2 years ago, but got out of that with CBT, positive thinking and making real changes in my life. I'm not on any medication for anything at all, and barring work-related injuries, haven't had any absence due to 'ill-health' in that time. But I'm still terrified - advice, please! Ta |

| the ones I saw recently were nice enough. I have meds for BP/cholesterol & was just getting over a bout of bronchitis when I went. I've been in the new job (NHS) for about 10weeks so I guess they were ok with it. Try not to worry. Good luck, hope you'll be really happy in the job! |
