| Bally's claims that I owe them 4000, which I do not. They have sent the account to a debt collector. Can this debt collector put a lein on my mortgage if I try to purchase a house? Do I have a right to fight this with a lawyer? I cancelled my contract after a car accident and handded in the neccessary paper work 10 years ago. |

|  10 years ago?! Wow. No I don't believe that they can put a lien on your house. In fact, it's illegal for them to threaten you with such action unless they are actually going to do it. I would contact a lawyer. |
