|  No, you have to file a form with the IRS. It's form 4506, which you can get online, link below. Apparently you won't be able to get you 2004 return (which you filed this year) until next year. |

| Filing form 4506 will work, but when I needed copies of my returns recently, I found the most expedient method was to just call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040. You have to wade through their voice mail system a little, but it wasn't any more difficult than the systems they have for checking a credit card balance, etc. Within a week or two, they will get your returns sent to you. |
