...y help me? I dont know if heart attack or maybe any other disease or malade but my dear dixie died. I feel badly he was only a cat but in fact he was not a cat, he was a very good friend of my family.

my cat died too. if your cat was an outside cat than it could have been an illness.

If he/she was running around in circles and acting crazy it probably had a seizure! I am soooo sorry to hear about your cat.

I'm so sorry to hear that - I was hysterical when my 1st cat died. I took his tags off his collar and put them on my keychain so I could feel like I still had a part of him.

You can't blame yourself. Trust me I have lost three animals in these past months, and conseculatively. A cat and two dogs. I try not to think aabout it and just hope they went to a better place. Eventually you can hopefully get another cat and love it just as much. It will be ok.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I've had many kitties in my life! Hold a little private funeral service for him/her -- that will make you feel a little better. Put up some pictures of him/her, too. I recommend getting another cat eventually, but definitely not right away.

First of all sorry--but if he was quite old then there's nothing to be ashamed of, as you must remember death comes naturally. If the cat was relatively young it will be harder to cope with the loss. Try not replacing him immediately after death. Wait a while for the feeling to fade away. There is not much else you can do.
